PARTS OF THE MS WORD
Title Bar
This displays the document name, it is located at the center and top of the document window and shows the name of the program or document.
Quick Access Toolbar
This bar is one of the most important parts of Microsoft Word, it is located at the top of the screen, on the left corner just above the File Tab.
Microsoft Account
This features the owner of this Microsoft Account. it is also located at the top of the screen, in the right corner.
Ribbon Display Option
This feature lets you toggle the ribbon between three different states. The Auto-Hide Ribbon, Show Tabs, Show Tabs, and Commands.It is also located at the top of the screen, in the right corner.
Control Buttons
Control Buttons appear at the top right corner of any window or other applications, and you can see Hidden Control Buttons when you right-click on the title bar of any window or application. There are 3 buttons in Control button: Minimize/Maximize, Restore/Resize and Close Button.
Navigation Pane
Navigation Pane appears on the left side of the Outlook window and is how you switch between the different areas of Outlook, such as Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes.
Ribbon
The Ribbon is a user interface element, It is located below the Quick Access Toolbar and the Title Bar. It comprises seven tabs; Home, Insert, Page layout, References, Mailing, Review and View.
Ruler
The Ruler is located below the Ribbon around the edge of the document. It is used to change the format of the document. It helps you align the text, tables, graphics and other elements of your document. There are two rulers in MS Word: Vertical and Horizontal rulers.
Document Window
A document window is a section of the screen used to display the contents of a document file.
Zoom Slide
The Zoom slide appears in the lower-right corner of the application window. it can be use for change its magnification level.
View Option
This tab also gives you control over showing boundaries, guides, rulers, and other layout tools, zooming the size of your view of the publication, and managing Publisher windows you have open.There are 3 tabs in View Option: Print layout, Web layout and Read mode.
Status Bar
The status bar is the area at the bottom of the Word window. It displays information about what page you are on, as well as your line number on the page and character number on the line.
